The Government Technical High School, Myeik was opened in Thuwonra Quarter, Sandawat Village, Myeik Township on 5, May, 2009. The school has been established for 11 years.
These are the following objectives that have been practically serving as GTHS (Myeik)
(1) To teach and train to become skillful workers needed in technical and vocational education for the development of the country and the economic and social developments of the public.
(2) To provide good environments with the international standard for technical and vocational education and training.
(3) To upgrade the quality of teaching and learning, research and work by applying the techniques which need update in education and training.
(4) To extend and teach the training courses in technical and vocational education and training with the local requirements for developing region and locality.
